Exciting times in Hawkland

So a lot has happened since we last posted on here, I'll try and sum up quickly and tell you of some exciting things which are coming up.

1. - Vibrations article was published, we'll post that up on here when we get a scan of it, in the mean time there's a copy of the front cover down below as shot by the awesome Danny North. Click on it to get a big version and go to Danny's Flickr!

2. - The Zombie Video's filming has been wrapped up and is in the editing / post production stage. Hopefully it's all on course for our EP release show on September the 4th, more on that later. 3. The Kong tour in July was amazing. Thanks so much to the guys from Kong and their tech's, Joe and Whalley, for being great touring buddies. A special thanks to Kyle from Roach productions for tagging along to capture the fun! Hopefully our paths will cross again very soon. Robert has written a tour diary for RockMidgets.com which should be up soon.

4. - We are playing Leeds / Reading festival ! We played our futuresound heat on the 7th July and the runners up and overall winner were announced one by one over 5 excruciating hours via Leeds Music Forum on the 28th July. Needless to say we are over the moon with this and are very much looking forward to playing! Maybe see some of you there, we are playing the 'BBC introducing stage' just after 12 midday, Friday in Leeds, Saturday in Reading. If you are at either please come and say hello. We may have some cheeky exclusive samplers of some description. There's a review of our futuresound gig here

5. The release of our new ep 'A.or not?' draws closer and to celebrate we're having a party at the library with our friends Blacklisters, Godzilla Black and These Monsters, and hopefully premiering the zombie mini epic music video for 'I hate this, do you like it?'. THE EP IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER FROM BREW RECORDS. We have a deal that includes a tshirt and ep and probably some badges so go visit Brew's shop and get involved here. Expect to see some promo stuff popping up in the next few weeks including snippets of the live gig contained on the EP's enhanced cd and a studio diary of the recording process.

6. Last but not least we have recorded a new song which is to be released before the year is out. 'More info please..' I hear you cry. Well we can't really talk about that as of yet but rest assured we haven't forgotten about writing songs and are looking to still do an album to be hopefully released in the first half of next year.
